The power of an interior architect

Interior design is both an art and a science with one aim: to create beautiful and functional spaces where the people can live a healthy life and use all their senses. When I say art, I mean a certain feeling that an interior architect and designer can translate using the right materials, textures, furniture, lighting within a budget.

For this bedroom, the client wanted a contemporary design but fresh and warm in the same time.

When I say that interior design is a science too, I don't just mean the years spent in a University, I mean the spatial skill and experience in optimizing the use of available space with the respect for the architecture of the space and clients needs in using the space.

Another client wanted to buy a house from 1930 but didn’t know if the house had potential for a future conversion without changing the layout too much.

Above all, the lighting scenario is like the cherry on the cake. Optimal lighting scenario can make or brake your investment in high quality materials. The color rendering of the bulbs (CRI) will help you see the colors of the finishings similar with the colors you saw in the daylight. Dimmable lights will create a cozy and luxurious atmosphere in some areas.

Downlights should be used to highlight an important area where lighting fixtures can’t be used.
